We offer a mix of business and business casual custom made clothing. All our garments are individually designed and hand made to one's physique, body measurements, and requirements. All our suits are made from 100% Luxury Wool and range from $600 to $2000. Suit prices vary because quality and cost of fabrics vary. Slacks are 1/3 the suit price. All our shirts are made from 100% Luxury Cotton and are currently On Sale for $89. The turnaround time is 6 to 8 weeks.
Do Mr. Rock’s prices include any hidden charges?
There are no hidden charges. All our prices are NET. We do not charge sales tax, shipping, handling, custom duty, or for any special requests. Additionally, since you are getting a custom made product, based upon thirty-five specific measurements, alterations are usually unnecessary. In the unlikely event that the clothing doesn’t fit perfectly, I will alter it free of charge.
Why should I buy from Mr. Rock instead of a department store?
It is my goal to earn your business for life. I have been serving the country’s top business schools for the past thirty years and my clientele includes literally thousands of successful businessmen and women as well as professors and politicians. When you buy from me, you not only get a custom made suit that does not come off the rack, you get my personal commitment to provide you the highest quality professional clothing whenever you need it.
What is the advantage of a custom-tailored suit over designer or name-brand suits?
Unless you are built like a department store mannequin, it is unlikely that a suit bought off the rack will fit properly. The simple alterations done at most stores, such as adjusting sleeve or trouser length, will not ensure a proper fit. Remember, a high price tag does not guarantee a high quality or good-fitting suit. Nobody sees the brand name or price of your suit, but everyone sees how it fits.
Do you make women’s clothing?
Yes I do. In fact, almost twenty percent of my customers are women. I have found over the years that many women have difficulty finding custom made business clothing. I can make anything you would like. If you can’t describe it to me, bring me a picture and I am sure I can deliver whatever you desire.
What happens at my appointment with Mr. Rock?
I bring thousands of fabric samples for your selection while on tour. You will first pick your fabric type (wool, silk, cashmere, etc. for suits and jackets; cotton, silk, etc. for shirts) and color/pattern. You will next customize the style of your suit or shirt. Finally, I will take a series of measurements from which your custom-tailored suit or shirt will be made.
Can you tell me more about your shirts? What kind of fabric do you use? I remained dissatisfied with shirts bought from my former tailor.
All our shirts fabrics:
- Are 100% Cotton (only the highest quality raw cotton is used)
- Have yarn counts from 100/2 X 100/2 to 200/2 X 200/2 (all our shirt fabrics are in the high-end of this range)
- Have excellent breathing properties
- Are extremely comfortable to wear
Why do I have to wear my best-fitting suit to the appointment?
I ask that you wear a suit to your appointment with me in order to assure that I understand your unique body type. By seeing you in a suit that you currently own, I am able to take better measurements and make better judgments about how your suit should be tailored. You may be surprised to find that your current suit does not fit as well as you think it does! Additionally, I keep your measurements on file so that you can call and order additional clothing from me whenever you need it.
Do you have any retail locations?
We do not have any retail locations. Mr. R.M. Rock travels 7 months a year to all major US Cities nationwide, Europe, Australia, and Japan to personally serve our clientele. He visits New York five times a year.
